Her Excellency, Emily Milla-Amekor is the new Chairperson and President elect of the General Assembly of the African Union of Youth Assembly -AUYA. Was elected on October 10, 2023, to lead the organization as its new Chairperson and the President elect of the General Assembly, with over 9.8 Million of the marginalized African Youth to be under her Leadership, specifically the 54 African Countries as permanent signatory to the independent Charter, in addition to the 141 Foreign observer Countries under her leadership.

According to the Psychometric & cognitive Examination Centre (PCEC) under the AUYA's Electoral Department, her aptitude test assessment was recorded with an Intelligence Quotient of (IQ -137) during her examinations, ranking her as the second Chairperson with the smartest reasoning and higher intelligence ability.

She was also ranked among the 5th most powerful and influential youth leaders in Africa. Emily shall be leading and presiding over the largest and the biggest AUYA's - independent Youth governments and national parliamentary Youth Assemblies after her historic and spectacular unveiling and swearing-in ceremony in January 2024.

Emily is a PhD Candidate and she will be defending her PhD thesis in December 2023. She holds a Master of Public Health from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and is currently a full-time worker as a Scientific Officer at the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA), formerly known as the Ghana Standards Board, a Government agency responsible for the maintenance of acceptable standards for product and services and sound management practices in industries and public institutions in Ghana. At GSA, She worked as an Import Inspector and a Quality Management System, ISO 9001 Auditor.

Before her current position, she served in multiple positions from being the Country President of AUYA-Ghana, AUYA's News Editor and chief Director of Media, and also the head of the Press Department, where she headed the entire Television and Newspapers division, which is the powerful departments of the Organization that conducts journalistic researches and information on youth and Non-profit activities in Africa and beyond.
