ADO -DIPLOMATIC VISA WAIVER
To acquire the African Diplomatic Organization (ADO) Diplomatic Visa Waiver, ADO's diplomatic Officials must first be a Diplomatic passport holder during the time of application and need to follow a specific process. Here's a detailed guide:
STEPS TO ACQUIRE ADO DIPLOMATIC VISA WAIVER ELIGIBILITY CHECK:
There are currently two ways to establish eligibility: Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for the visa waiver:
a.) Be a holder of a diplomatic passport issued by your home country's government, or
b.) Be an ordinary passport holder recommended by the World Diplomatic Organization (WDO),
the parental umbrella organization headquartered in London, United Kingdom, through the chairperson of ADO.
2. Application Form:
- Obtain the visa waiver application form from the ADO's Headquarters or the relevant diplomatic office.
3. Documentation:
- Gather scanned copies of your necessary documents, including your
1. Diplomatic passport or ordinary Passport
2. Police Clearance Certificate (for backgrounds checks and criminal records verification),
3. proof of ADO membership,
4. prove of ADO's appointment letter as an ADO -representative,
5. (The ADO's appointment letter should not be less than 13 months active during the time of application, and Passport should not be less than 3 months valid before expiration.
And any other required identification or supporting documents from ADO's Headquarters.
4. Submission:
- ADO headquarters will submit the completed copies of the application form and all supporting documents on behalf of the applicant, through the Diplomatic projects Office of WDO UK branch, to the designated office or embassy handling WDO/ADO's visa waivers issued by the Headquarters.
5. Processing:
- The application will be reviewed by our relevant partnered embassies. Processing times may vary, so it's advisable to apply well in advance of your travel plans.
6. Approval:
- If approved, you will receive the visa waiver notification through the ADO's Headquarters in Accra, Ghana, which allows you submit your passport for your diplomatic Visa to travel to the specified countries as an ADO -Diplomat.
WARNING:
No member should personally approach any government or embassy regarding inquiries or obtaining a Diplomatic Passport or Visa in the name of ADO without the explicit consent or authorization of the organization. Such gross misconduct will result in definite suspension from ADO membership.
